For twenty-seven years we have represented some of the leading artists in hand blown glass, ceramics, wood and jewelry as well as wearable textiles and mixed media. The gallery is also unusual in that it combines handmade objects from around the world with American crafts. It is our belief that beautiful and interesting pieces can work well together regardless of where they were made.

Celebrating the onset of a new decade is a perfect time to bring out your finest in stemware.

Shown in the photo to the left are flutes and goblets in the Willow pattern by Steve Smyers. Steve is one of the true innovators of the contemporary glass movement. For more than thirty years, the simple elegance of Smyers Glass has graced fine tables worldwide. Renowned for his blend of artful innovation and classic appeal, his timeless collection of award-winning designs has placed his company in the vanguard of contemporary glass studios. In the creative atmosphere of his studio, where Smyers and his assistants mouth blow and hand finish each piece individually, glassware of lasting beauty and style is created with impeccable quality and craftsmanship. Another designer of fine stemware is Union Street Glass, Inc. Guy Corrie is the designer and glassblower who works with his wife in the studio. Guy has won numerous awards for his designs and has been collected by the Corning Museum of Glass. ...oh and kudos to our Display Artist, Dave LaFave, who won the $500 First Prize in the South University Area Associations' Christmas Window Display Contest for our sister store, Middle Earth, on South University right here in Ann Arbor!
